Privacy Policy
StopPMO

StopPMO has no account and no login, and it does not send your personal data to our servers. This page explains where your data is stored and how you keep full control over it.

Effective 17 October 2026 Updated 17 October 2026 English

At a glance

  • No data collection. The App does not send your records, identity, or technical data to us.
  • No account or login. Every feature works without a name, email address, phone number, or password.
  • Everything stays on your device. Streaks, relapses, triggers, moods, and journals are stored locally only.
  • No ads, trackers, or data sales. You can delete all local data at any time from the App or Android settings.

01. About this policy

PT Bali Aktivitas Wisata (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the developer and personal data controller for the StopPMO mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains our no-collection approach, where your data is stored, and the rights and choices available to you.

This policy applies to the Android StopPMO app and the website page that displays this document. It does not apply to third-party services — such as Google Play or sites linked from the App — which have their own privacy policies.

StopPMO is a self-help tool for building healthier habits and reducing pornography consumption. It is not a healthcare provider, medical device, or substitute for diagnosis, therapy, or treatment. If you are in an emergency or mental health crisis, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.

By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with the practices described here, please do not use the App and delete its data from your device.

Our principles

  • No data collection. The App sends us nothing — no analytics, crash logs, device IDs, or telemetry.
  • No account or login. Core features work without a name, email address, phone number, or password.
  • Fully local. Your recovery records stay on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
  • No ads or data sales. We do not show targeted ads and we do not sell personal data.
  • Deletable. You can delete individual records or all App data at any time.

Public page. This policy is publicly accessible without login, payment, or geographic restriction. It is a standard HTML page, not a PDF or downloadable file.

02. Data on your device

StopPMO does not collect your personal data. We do not operate user accounts, we do not ask you to log in, and we do not run a server that receives your records. Everything you enter or configure in the App is created and stored locally on your device.

Table 1. Data created and stored on your device
Category Examples Stored by Purpose Nature
Recovery records Streaks, start date, relapse entries, urge intensity, triggers, moods, journals, personal goals Your device; not accessed by us Provide core tracking and reflection features Core; journals and free-text notes are optional
App preferences Theme, reminder schedule, onboarding status, app PIN (hashed) Your device; not accessed by us Remember settings and lock the App Core or optional depending on the feature
Support correspondence Email address and message content, only if you contact us first Us and our email provider Answer your question or request Optional and entirely voluntary
Export / backup Data file you create yourself Storage location you choose; not accessed by us Portability and personal backup Optional

“Not accessed by us” means the data sits in the App’s isolated storage area on your device. We have no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no key or technical ability to read, copy, or restore that data.

Because the App sends nothing to us, we do not receive your location, device ID, advertising ID, crash logs, usage statistics, or the contents of your records — and we only learn your email address if you choose to write to us.

Data the App never collects

  • Account identity: the App never asks for your name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
  • Precise location, contacts, SMS, call history, camera, microphone, or photos/gallery.
  • Advertising ID, installation ID, or any cross-app identifier.
  • Crash logs, diagnostics, usage analytics, or telemetry.
  • Health data from third-party platforms and raw biometric data.
  • The contents of your journal, triggers, moods, or any other personal record.

About this website. This policy page is hosted on GitHub Pages. The site does not set advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Your light/dark theme preference is stored in your browser’s localStorage and is not sent to us. GitHub may process technical data such as your IP address and user agent for security and service delivery, in accordance with GitHub’s privacy policy.

We keep this page consistent with the Data safety form in Google Play, which declares that StopPMO does not collect and does not share data. If you find a discrepancy, please contact us so we can correct it.

03. Sensitive data & journals

Recovery records can reveal health conditions, sexual life, personal habits, or emotional vulnerabilities. We treat these records as sensitive personal data under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 27 of 2022 (the “PDP Law”) and apply a more cautious approach than we do to ordinary technical data.

How sensitive data is handled

  • Stays on your device. Streaks, relapses, triggers, moods, and journals are not uploaded to our servers and are not synced to the cloud.
  • Never transmitted. The App contains no analytics or telemetry, so journal text, triggers, moods, and free-text notes cannot leave your device.
  • Never used for ads. We do not use sensitive data for advertising, profiling, or data sales.
  • No automated decisions. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects based on your records.
  • Can be locked. You can enable a PIN or device biometrics to limit physical access to the App.

Processing of sensitive data on your device is based on your explicit consent, given when you voluntarily enter records or journals and enable the related features. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting those records or all App data; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Do not include other people’s data. Avoid writing full names, addresses, workplaces, or other identifying information about others in your journal. You also do not need to include your own identity — these notes are for you, not for us.

If you contact support, describe only the technical issue or request. Do not attach journal contents, screenshots of private records, or unnecessary health details. We do not need that information to help you.

04. Device permissions

The App requests only the permissions needed for features you choose to use. No permission is used to send your records or identity to us, and you can deny or revoke any permission in Android settings.

Table 2. Device permissions and their purposes
Permission / access Purpose If denied
Notifications Display reminders scheduled locally on your device Reminders will not appear; other features still work
Biometrics / device lock Unlock the App with fingerprint, face, or device PIN Use the App PIN or disable the lock
Storage via file picker Export data to a location you choose Export is unavailable; data remains on your device
Vibration Provide haptic feedback for certain interactions No impact on data or core functionality
Internet access Open policy links and, if you choose, contact support Links and support email will not open; tracking features work offline

Note: on Android, permissions can be changed via Settings → Apps → StopPMO → Permissions. StopPMO does not request access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, call history, or broad storage. Biometric data is processed by the operating system; the App only receives a success or failure result and never receives your biometric template.

06. How data is used

Data you enter is used by the App itself, on your device, to provide the features you choose:

  • Core features. Store streaks, relapse records, triggers, moods, journals, goals, and preferences so the App works as intended.
  • Reminders. Schedule local notifications at the times you choose.
  • App lock. Check your PIN or device biometrics before opening private screens.
  • Export. Write a copy of your data to a file location you pick.

We do not receive, read, or analyse this data. We do not use it for targeted advertising, cross-app profiling, data sales, or training artificial intelligence models. The only information we handle is what you choose to send us in a support email.

07. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. Because the App does not transmit your records to us, there is no App data for us to share.

Table 3. Limited third-party interactions
Recipient Data involved Purpose
Google Play Installation and app distribution information handled by Google Distribute and update the App under Google’s privacy policy
Email provider (e.g., Gmail) Email address and message content you send to support Receive and reply to your communication
Competent authorities Only data we actually hold, such as support emails, and only when lawfully required Comply with legal orders or regulatory obligations

The App or this site may link to third-party services — such as Google Play or a support page. We do not control their privacy practices; please read their privacy policies before providing data.

08. Storage & retention

You control how long your data is kept. Records stay on your device until you delete them, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App. We hold no copy, so there is no server-side retention period for your records.

  • Recovery records and preferences. Until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
  • Exported files. Until you delete the file from the location you chose.
  • Support emails. Up to 12 months after the conversation ends, unless a legal obligation requires a longer period.
  • Website theme preference. Stored in your browser’s localStorage until you clear site data.

How to delete data

  • Local data. Use the delete-data option in App Settings, or open Android Settings → Apps → StopPMO → Storage → Clear data. Uninstalling the App also deletes local data.
  • Specific records. Delete journal entries or history individually from the relevant screen before deleting all data.
  • Exported files. Delete them from the folder or cloud drive you saved them to.
  • Support data. Email nandacomp1075@gmail.com to delete support communications, unless we are legally required to keep them.

Export before deleting. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed by us. If you want a copy, use the export feature first and store the file in a safe location.

09. Data security

Because your records never leave your device, their security depends mainly on your device and the operating system. We still design the App to reduce risk and to avoid creating copies we would have to protect.

  • App data is stored in the Android app sandbox, isolated from other apps.
  • Data is protected by Android file-based encryption when your device is locked.
  • The App PIN is stored as a hash, not in plain text. Biometrics are processed by the operating system and are never received by us.
  • The App contains no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs, so there is no background transmission of your data.
  • Support emails are kept in our email account with access limited to personnel who handle support.
  • No system is perfectly secure. Use a screen lock, keep your device updated, and download the App only from Google Play.

If your device is lost or stolen, your records cannot be retrieved remotely through us — we have no copy. Use Find My Device to lock or erase the device, and change the App PIN if you had shared it.

If a personal data breach affecting data we actually hold occurs, we will notify affected users in writing no later than 3×24 hours after we become aware of it, in accordance with the PDP Law, together with the mitigation steps we take. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately using the details in the Contact us section.

10. Your rights

Under the PDP Law you have rights over your personal data. Because StopPMO has no accounts and does not collect your records, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device.

  • Information and transparency. Know who the controller is and how the App handles data.
  • Access and copy. View your records in the App and export them if the feature is available.
  • Correction. Update inaccurate or incomplete records directly in the App.
  • Deletion. Delete individual records or all App data at any time.
  • Withdrawal of consent. Revoke notification or biometric permissions through the App or Android settings.
  • Objection and restriction. Ask us to stop or limit processing of any data we actually hold, such as support emails.
  • Portability. Request a copy of data we hold in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
  • Complaint and compensation. Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority and seek compensation for unlawful processing.

How to make a request

For the limited data we hold — for example support correspondence — email nandacomp1075@gmail.com with the subject “StopPMO Privacy Rights Request”. Include the email address you used to contact us. You do not need to send journal contents or any other sensitive data to verify your request.

We respond within 14 business days of receiving and verifying a request. If an extension is needed, we will tell you and explain why. Requests are handled free of charge, unless they are repetitive or excessive and require a reasonable administrative fee under applicable law.

For records that exist only on your device, we cannot access, restore, or delete them remotely. Use the options in the App or Android settings; if you uninstall the App, local data is lost and cannot be recovered by us.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) through its official channel at komdigi.go.id. For data managed by Google, you can also use the privacy controls in your Google account.

11. Age limits & children

StopPMO is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not designed for children. The App discusses pornography and adult habits, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 — in fact, the App collects no personal data from any user.

If you are under 18, please do not use the App or send us personal data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has contacted us, email us so we can delete any information within our control. Local data on a child’s device can be removed by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling it.

We do not display explicit content in the App and we do not target the App at children. If we ever develop features for teenagers, we will review this policy and add appropriate safeguards before release.

12. International transfers

Your recovery records are not transferred outside Indonesia because they are never sent to our servers. A few service providers we rely on — such as Google Play and our email provider — may process limited data outside Indonesia.

Where personal data is transferred outside Indonesia, we rely on a lawful transfer basis and appropriate safeguards, including:

  • data protection clauses in agreements with service providers;
  • recognised transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy framework;
  • risk assessments and due diligence before any engagement begins;
  • limiting transferred data to the minimum necessary;
  • encryption of data in transit and, where available, at rest.

You can ask for more information about processing locations and safeguards using the email address in the Contact us section.

13. Policy changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in features, technology, service providers, or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page together with its effective and updated dates. Earlier versions are available on request.

For material changes — for example, if a future version of the App were to collect data or use it for a new purpose — we will announce the change in the App or on this site before it takes effect where possible, and we will ask for your consent again where required.

If you do not agree with an updated policy, you can stop using the App and delete your data as described in Storage & retention.

14. Contact us
